cryptodance

The cryptodance is a performative event to initiate ourselves into different modes of encryption, whilst embedding and collectively embodying issues of security, privacy violation, and surveillance.

This summer, an international small constellation of choreographers, hackers, dancers, etc. (…) will meet and write choreography combining dance annotations, cryptographic technics, and other in(ter)ventions from our urgent technopolitical needs for sovereignty and body/machine/living organism desires for kinships.

We don’t know yet the output and the format of the cryptodance. It will probably be adaptable to a variety of spaces, including public spaces. In terms of documentation (and to facilitate its reproductivity), the project will be documented with a form of dance annotation. It could eventually become a videodance.
